Claustra

An international collaborative installation exploring technology overconsumption and digital memories.
Overview
An interactive video installation exploring technology overconsumption and digital memories, developed by an international team.
The theme is the overconsumption of technology and the lack of physical contact with the world. Screens, projections and interactive pieces fill one room, presented as a non-linear, abstract story that leaves visitors to find their own meaning.
Collaboration
Claustra was a team project. The role and responsibilities listed here are my individual contributions, not the work of the whole team.
The images and video on this page document the team’s installation as a whole.

Concept
From the team’s project statement: “Our project focuses on overconsumption of technology within society, specifically highlighting the reliance we place on technology to communicate and stay in touch with people.”
Two questions for visitors: To what extent are our lives experienced through screens? What is the meaning of being present in the moment?
